Biotechnology Lab Our state-of-the-art biotechnology lab is a hub for tissue culture and marker-assisted breeding. Our scientists have developed protocols for regenerating potato, banana, and various orchids. Additionally, we have established SSR marker-based hybridity tests for 30 hybrids across ten vegetable crops, ensuring genetic integrity and performance. Overview Lal Teer Seed Ltd., the first research-based seed company in Bangladesh, has been pioneering advances in agricultural science since 1996 (formerly East West Seed). Our experimental farm, located in Bashon, Gazipur, spans 30 acres and lies approximately 25 kilometers north of Dhaka.
