Who We Are

Lal Teer was founded in 1995 by Mr. Abdul Awal Mintoo and Mr. Simon Groot of the Netherlands, Lal Teer Seed Ltd has become Bangladesh's largest biotechnology and seed production company. Addressing the country's critical vegetable production deficit, Lal Teer leverages advanced research and collaborations across 64 districts to deliver high-quality seed varieties. Expanding its reach globally, the company is now making strides in South Asia and beyond. In September 2008, Lal Teer diversified its offerings by entering the pesticide distribution sector through a joint venture with United Phosphorus Limited, India, reinforcing its mission to empower farmers with innovative and sustainable agricultural solutions.
